When working with Designers and obtaining a general theme as to the design of the Iron work being created, a series of drawings from the smallest detail to the overall finished design is completed and approved by the customer to insure their complete satisfaction.

One of our signatures is the ability to overlay brass with great precision that adds richness and beauty to what would be simple forged Iron, this takes the Iron work to a high level of craftsmanship that demands a second look from admirers.

Bringing to life a simple piece of Iron, is an art that we choose to take time and effort in accomplishing - this is perhaps our main foundation.

Original Methods

The next unique step that Clover Forge takes great pride in is the distinct capability to replicate naturally aged Iron and Bronze with "recipes" that have been handed down from Old World Iron craftsmen. This is a very rare art of being able to control the natural shades that Iron undertakes through years of exposure to the natural elements of air, moisture and heat is the finishing touch that others try to achieve with paint that.....well looks nice from a distance.

We have chosen to master this art to create Iron work and take it to a level that even the most critical eye would mistake from a piece taken from a museum, this process opens up to designers input that they are seldom ever given, the ability to choose from beautiful natural hues that are authentic.
